This week we have had the pleasure of our Hong Kong Product Manager visiting us here at The Great Barn. We have generated a melting pot of fab ideas and have put the finishing touches on our brand new, BB designed products. We are looking forward to getting that stock over this Spring and into stores, catalogues and online.

Our resident nutty professor, or should I say, product designer, Max has been delighting us all with the weird and wonderful things he has been bringing in to create new product designs. Each day he fetches something bizarre from his van and happily designs and builds away. Our favourite ‘reveal’ this week was when he brought in a tent pole. Watch this space for the fruits of this wacky but wonderful labour.

As always we have been chuffed with the press enjoying our products and our brand news. Check out a couple of the latest below. These include a very exciting exclusive deal signed with Zeon, an American Talk Show playing with the iBallz and the Sexy Shower Curtain bringing a bit of curtain chic to the bathroom.

This week has been a week like no other, and what a winner it was. Members of team BB packed up and headed to Birmingham’s NEC. Managing to dodge the snow – you gotta love British weather – we set up our largest stand to date and Spring Fair International became our base camp. We saw so many of our great customers and made some new ones and our new development range for 2012 went down a storm.

The show kicked off with a bang as we were awarded the title of ‘Highly Commended’ at Gift of the Year Show 2012. This is a fantastic achievement for our fab Man Apron and we’re looking forward to bringing the entire Man range to stores, sites and catalogues by the Spring.

There has been a lot of noise about our products this week. The iBallz featured in GQ this month, CNET’s Crave and Pocket-Lint took to the iAppcade, Dune Loves were lighting candles of love with the Magic Love Candle for Valentine’s, the Esme featured in a Dune Twitter competition and Toy News were wowed by the size of our stand at the Spring Fair.

So as you can see it’s been quite a week. We wouldn’t have it any other way! Have a fantastic weekend!

We’ve had a super busy week this week in preparation for Spring Fair International starting this Sunday. We’ve got our biggest stand ever there and we’re filling it with all the exciting lines we’ve been beavering away to develop over the last year. We hope you love them – come check them out in Hall 3, Stand J31. We were chuffed to see that Gifts Today magazine were talking about our stand and our offering at Spring Fair in this month’s magazine.

Our fab Dash II Radio Controlled Boat has been gracing the screens of children’s television land, also known as CBBC. The phenomenally popular TV programme Friday Download featured our Dash Boat on their gadget shelves. It was great to see it glinting and gleaming in all its James Bond-style glory.

When we’re not lusting to be James Bond we are, well just lusting really. We’ve come over all a flutter with our fab Valentine’s ranges and Love It magazine were enjoying them too. Check out this week’s issue for our Double EEgg Cups and Sweetheart Russian Dolls in the magazine’s Valentine’s spread.

So all that is left for us to do is pack up our fab kit and decamp to Birmingham’s NEC. Until next week gang – have a great one!
